Wokeness is evil, God is good!

It took me some time to think of a title for this but I think what I have sums things up. It's been strange for the past several years to say the least, so many really weird things happening. The idiotic woke culture continues to amaze with me with the absurdities. But I know that God is still in control. Nonetheless, it's still our responsibility to call out evil for what it is. Last Saturday (June 19th), Vicki and I went to Tampa for General Flynn's Health and Freedom conference. There were more than 8000 but less than 10000 people present. We heard several preachers with great scriptural messages and some speakers with instruction on how to get involved. And that's the focus, we need to be involved. General Flynn suggested that even if a true patriot runs for dog catcher, we can make a difference. I encourage people to go watch some of the videos, I will leave a link at the bottom. The highlight for us though wasn't the speakers, it was the people. For those who know me, I'm not the hugging type. I have a shirt that says All I care about are bees and like maybe 3 people. About half way through the speakers, they took an intermission and Vicki was having some back pain. Since the accident in August of 2019, she's been in pretty much constant pain. Sitting or standing for long periods makes it unbearable. She bought a pillow from Mike Lindell (My Pillow), and laid down on the ground in front of our chairs. Some people sitting behind us asked what was wrong, I explained about the accident and the uphill struggle to get things corrected. Immediately they wanted to pray for Vicki. So several people started moving chairs. The next thing I knew there were perhaps 8-10 people kneeling all around Vicki praying. People from the next row back came up and also asked what was happening. I spoke with some and others spoke too. Now there were about 25 people praying, for both of us. These were people who I have never met, from as far away as Massachusetts and California. Who have shown more caring than some of my neighbors. All colors mixed together in a true spirit of love. I even hugged most all of them. But then on Sunday morning the evil of wokeness reared it's ugly head. I saw a FB post of how a black woman burned her white bee suit because she felt it was racist. With all of the people I saw in Tampa, and everyone that I interacted with, I am certain that race was not a paramount issue. I am also certain that many of them have been victims of racism. Yet none of us cared about each other's color. These "woke" messages, like toxic masculinity, or "critical race theory", Coke telling people to be less white and major corporations sending executives to special anti whiteness training are all evil. They all come straight from the pit of hell and smell like smoke. Corporate and government programs will never stop racism, or any other ism for that matter. It's a heart issue and that can only be fixed in one place. Your spirit guides can't do it, all of the false gods can't do it. Only in Christ Jesus can man be fixed. So I end with the example that Mike Lindell showed us. When he finished his speech, General Flynn came out to lead us in prayer for Mike. As he, his family, and his business are under constant attack. This humble man said not to just pray for him but to pray for the democrats that have attacked him. And not to heap coals on their heads, but that they too would come to know Christ, and to know the truth of what is happening. That is my prayer, that the people who have been manipulated to think that any race is inferior or evil, can find the peace in Jesus, and know that we are all supposed to be one family in Him.

What does revival look like?

For as long as I have been a believer, I’ve heard stories of revivals. Isuza street frequently comes up, and there was a short lived movement in the early 90’s of spontaneous laughter. There are some recordings by a deceased Baptist preacher named J. Edwin Orr from the 60’s and into the early 70’s.  Dr Orr Dr Orr traces the different awakenings, the early 1700’s, pre and post Civil War, 1850’s, and just a little of the Jesus movement. In nearly all cases, revival comes when society has reached an extremely low state. Or just before a major cataclysmic event, such as world war. For the most part, I’ve often thought of revivals as more people actively seeking God. The real churches filling, and reaching the community. And societal changes for the better. I’ve been to some meetings, or series of meetings called revival but they are really just a series of meetings, and as mostly initiated by man and not God, they encourage the saved more than impacting the society. But today I see real revival, but it does not look like what I expected. There is a lot of talk of The Great Awakening, (I did a blog post on this a while back) and I certainly see something changing. More and more people are beginning to ask the most important questions; Why? Why do we do things in a specific way? Why do we have certain laws? Why is there so much suffering in the world, while some people can flaunt so much wealth? Why do we toil our entire lives simply to exist? And probably most important; Why am I here? And probably the second most important question; Is this life all that there is?

There are answers to all of these questions. Most can be found in the same place. Looking at the last question first, if this life is indeed all that there is, then there is no purpose to exist. Paul said that if we have hope only in this life, then we are miserable. So I firmly believe that there is more than just this, and quite frankly this is quite miserable. But what about the rest of the questions?  I will leave the second to last question for the end, and look at the others now. Do you ask why so many people suffer?  If you do then you are just a part of that problem, because you actually have some compassion in your soul. Even if you do not believe it, there are people with no compassion at all. And unfortunately many of the folks in control of government and large corporations fall into this category.  But you’re not off the hook, and neither am I. Because we abdicated our authority, we allowed evil people to take and maintain control for far too long. And we’ve accepted the lie that church and state should be separate. Life is lived in both a spiritual and physical realm, one cannot separate the two. So when we ask why do we do things in a certain way, it’s because we’ve put people in positions of authority who have dictated that this is how it will be done. In some cases this is OK, in other cases it is so very wrong.

The next question is why do we have certain laws? In some cases, laws are dictated by societal norms. Not to say that these are right though. In fact, societal norms will change with time, so laws change. But all over the world, there are some laws that are universal. Murder and theft are pretty much universally accepted as wrong. Where do these come from?  When one acknowledges these universal laws, one must also consider that they were established by some authority. To look at the world, and all that is in it. To look at the mystery of life and it’s complexity, it is foolish to think that there was no design or designer to this. Consider for a moment a pencil. A simple machine of sorts. A piece of wood surrounding a piece of graphite. Where did it come from? Could the atoms that make a pencil simply form on their own? Even if someone had never seen a pencil before, they could discern that someone created it with a purpose. So if a simple device as a pencil has a creator, is it not logical then, that you and I, as complex as we are, would also have a creator?  And it is this creator who established laws. And it is man who perverts the laws. We may acknowledge that it’s wrong to kill, but then some will say that the terminally ill will die anyway, and we can relieve their suffering. Or some may say that an unborn baby is not really a person so it’s not really killing. Science has different definitions for life, an amoeba crawling in a petri dish is considered alive, but a baby in the 6th month of pregnancy is not.

The question of why do I toil all my life to simply exist, can also be answered by the fact that we have allowed evil people to be in charge. The people who make the rules, make them for a reason. It allows them to retain power and enslaves the masses. This may sound extreme but consider how many people in government become multi millionaires in just a short time, while the majority of the population simply continue at the same pace.

And the final question, one with which so many people struggle is; Why am I here?

This is pretty deep. There is a saying that the chief purpose of man is to glorify God and to love Him forever.  This means that I actually have to do something. My existence by itself will probably not glorify God. So I cannot simply live a passive life.

This is where I see revival and awakening in our nation today. And although I can’t say for sure, it appears to be happening in other countries too. It’s not a speaking in tongues movement. Not a signs and wonders movement. It’s a grass roots movement teaching people that we all have a responsibility in our communities. Right now in the US I know of two tours or programs or some such to which I really can’t place a name. One consists of several motor-coaches traveling across the USA in small communities. They are spreading the message of Faith Family and Freedom. Reaching the people not in the large cities but the folks that make up the life blood of the nation. At the same time, there is a group of people traveling to major cities, with a similar message. But both of these groups share one very specific message. Get involved in your community. I’ve heard for decades people speaking about how we need term limits, yet the same corrupt and evil people continue to be elected. We don’t need term limits, we simply need to replace people after 2 terms. And it begins at the local level. I am encouraged by things that I have seen in the recent past. The events of the last year served a purpose, it poked a lot of sleeping bears and woke them up. It made some people angry and they started asking questions. And it’s moved some to action. Two moms in Idaho attended a “revival” in Tulsa. They were inspired and took action. The result of their actions is a law now in Idaho that children cannot be forced to wear face masks in school.

This is the awakening, and the revival. It’s time for people to take a stand. Not on a national level but just in the community. Everything begins there. The USA is at a crossroads. And this is a battle between God and Satan. I am amazed by the people who profess to be Christians and cannot see what side is right. Killing babies is wrong. Enslavement in any form is wrong. Critical race theory is wrong. Socialism is evil straight from the pits of hell. Jesus said that the devil comes to destroy but that He came to give abundant life. Can you not discern who is causing destruction and who is promoting life?

While I believe that wheels are in motion right now to remove much of what is evil in our nation, it is still our responsibility to get active in our community. God is calling His people to WAKE UP. Some are being called to serve politically. Some are being called to support those. And all are being called to stand firm on what is right. For far tool long, the people of God have been passive in the face of evil. I say for my self I will be passive NO MORE. I will call out evil where I see it for what it is.

I will leave you with some information and hopefully some inspiration. Look at these web sites, be warned some of what you will find is disturbing and you may not want to believe it. But we are indeed in a battle between God and Satan, and this is the time for the people of God to gird up their loins and do battle.

What about prayer?

 What about prayer?

I was recently asked what I thought about calls for prayer, or fasting and prayer. I actually have some pretty specific feelings about this. And people who know me might be surprised.

It's not uncommon to hear people ask for prayer, even folks who would be considered to be Pagans will ask for group prayer. I think this question stemmed form some politician making a statement for people to pray. As to the fasting part, I know that there are a lot of references to prayer and fasting in scripture. I knew a man years ago who frequently fasted and prayed. In the times that I've known of people fasting, it's typically seemed like they were going on a hunger strike. A method and attempt to move God? Just doesn't seem right to me.

The question that comes to mind, is why are they making this request?  Or what is it that they want? That's most frequently what prayers are, asking God to do something.

Are you asking God to heal the land, while you still want to kill unborn babies? Or produce Hollywood porn?

For the most part, our problems are a result of how we've lived. God gave us instructions, when we ignore them, then things go bad. So now it's time to ask for Him to fix it?  But we're not alone, history is replete with societies that have done the same.  I remember a Christian comedian stand up routine about eating a donut. He prayed, Lord please transform this donut into something nutritious on the way down.

And while I frequently hear stuff like, your past does not dictate your present or future, sorry but it really does. Things that I did over 30 years ago still today have an impact.

I know a lot of people who will profess a strong belief that prayers are always answered. The frequent religious answer is that God always answers, with either yes or no. And some people will add, wait, which is still no. Most testimonies that I've heard revolve around prayer in some way. Usually testimonies are; something bad happened, the person prayed, and then God moved and life became good. Of late I am very suspect of most testimonies.

I also think when most people ask about prayer, they are looking for some formula or method to move God. But there are no formulas.

We can look at the section in the gospel of Luke, the disciples ask Jesus; "Lord teach us to pray". And so we get an example. I think something in this is missing here, I've often thought that the request was not for a formula at this time, but rather they wanted to have the discipline to pray daily.

More along the lines of, teach us to have a life of prayer. We can see that Jesus certainly had that, and I know a lot of folks who do also.

My attitude today is quite different than it was a few years ago. I used to start every day with prayer, but quite honestly, one can only knock on a door that stays closed for so long. Prayer today, even the thought of prayer, most times brings a certain level of depression. I know people who give these great testimonies of how God moved, healed or did some miracle. Maybe, maybe not. I've been involved in group prayer for no small number of people who have died.

I have few friends, at least what I would consider to be friends. Right now I have a friend who has been in the hospital for months. I know that he, his family, and church are praying. I know their church gathered at the hospital to pray, still he is there.

I frequently hear that one must have faith for God to move. Or that God can't or won't move unless one has a certain amount of faith. If this is true, then God is not sovereign and omnipotent. Essentially you are saying my lack of faith can stop God from doing what God wants to do.

The bottom line is that I really don't know what to think about prayer, or the efficacy of group prayers. If group prayers changed things then wars would have stopped much sooner, storms would disperse, sick would recover, and so on.

There is the sovereignty of God. He does what He wants to do. Sometimes it lines up with what we want too.

I remember a line from the movie, War Games. They are trying to stop the computer from starting a nuclear war by playing tic-tac-toe. General Beringer says; "I'd piss on a spark plug if I thought it'd do any good".  I sometimes think that's the attitude of politicians when they ask people to pray. They've done everything they can think of so now let's try prayer. Still, if you don't stop doing what caused the problem, how can God fix it?

An aspect of prayer, the life of prayer, is simply a constant acceptance that God is indeed sovereign and almighty, and that He does know what I need, and when He decides to make things change then He will.

This I can honestly say that I have daily. I acknowledge that God is in control, that He is sovereign, that I have problems, and everything that I have comes from His hands. Most of my problems come from things I did a long time ago, some of our current problems come from something that someone else did.

I simply must accept that God does not want to fix these things.

It's either that or God differentiates between the saints. Why is my friend still in the hospital when others have recovered? Why has it been nearly 2 years since my wife was rear ended and still she is not whole? Yet I know others who have had similar situations and they have fully recovered.

I don't believe that anyone has gotten the Why question answered.

Prayer is certainly a question, one to which I do not have an answer.

A world of children, afraid of shadows

Most of the world today is being controlled by fear, it's at so many levels. This morning I went for a bike ride, on one section I was on the sidewalk, which is about 6 feet across in the area where I was riding. I came upon a man who was walking alone, wearing a mask, going in the opposite direction. As I approached him, he stepped off the sidewalk into the grass about 10 feet away. What has happened to logical and rational thinking? As I finished my ride, I started to think of ways fear is used to control people. Parents use it with small children, some parents use it even with older children but I believe that's wrong. A small child, who has not experienced things will push boundaries. A single slap on the hand or bottom can reinforce proper behavior. There is a certain fear element that the child will get a slap. In similar ways, many people obey traffic laws due to fear, they are afraid of a ticket or paying a fine. In some neighborhoods, people may be afraid to go out at night. Most people I know will lock their doors, not always from a deep fear aspect, but an element of security. when I was a locksmith in the Washington D.C. area, I installed some pretty heavy locks. Locks called "jimmy proof" or a "police lock". The latter was interesting, it was a steel bar, about 3 1/2 foot long. It had a steel plate receptacle embedded in the floor and another plate on the door. The bar was inserted in the floor plate and when the door was closed the bar was at about a 40 degree angle, and locked into the door plate. Imagine a chair pushed against a door knob. I put a lot of these type locks on when I was there, people were afraid of being robbed or assaulted. I think I'd rather move than live in a city in constant fear. Fear is an easy emotion to play on, everyone is afraid of something, and most people are afraid of the unknown. As I've grown older and I look back, I wonder about some things that people told us to be afraid of. All through the 70's and 80's we were supposed to be afraid of the Soviet Union. Then it's been the Middle East. Today we are still supposed to be afraid of Russia, although I don't believe that Russia means us any direct harm. And more than anything else, we are supposed to be afraid of something that we cannot see and that most people really don't understand. A flu virus. It's really a boogieman under the bed. And I firmly believe that's exactly what this is. Certainly there is a flu bug, we have flu bugs all the time. But through manipulation of people's fear, nearly the entire world went into a lock down. And this was all perpetuated because people trust the governments. (That's a very big mistake). We've also been conditioned to believe that people with college degrees are smart, fortunately there are a lot of folks who are realizing that a degree only means they passed some tests, and has little to do with intelligence. It is also hard to accept the possibility that those in power, government officials, would actually want to do us harm. So for a year a lot of people have given up on living their lives freely due to fear, there is a phrase of how you stopped living for fear of dyeing. I think it's accurate. I have done a lot of digging, a lot of research in a lot of areas. Some of what I find, I think is bogus but some of what I find appears to be accurate. And some is in opposition to what the news and governments push and is accurate. In other words, in many cases, we are being lied to. I keep hoping that more people will see what's happening right before their eyes, but for some reason they can't. Maybe it's too much NPR or CNN.  I actually had a person tell me they listen to NPR as it's the only unbiased news. I was polite and did not break out in hysterical laughter, (but it was hard to do). If I could just get some folks to ask themselves some simple questions, primarily ask; Why? Why did the governments want people to stay indoors to fight off a corona virus? We have corona viruses every year. The best defense a body has is a strong immune system and lots of vitamins. We also know, scientifically, that corona viruses do not live long in direct sunlight and that the best way to get vitamin D is in direct sunlight. Fresh outside air and sun are great for the body's immune system. And while you are outside, take off your shoes and put your feet in the dirt. While I can't find any science on this "grounding" I do know from personal experience that it actually feels good to walk barefoot in my grass. So knowing this, the directive was to stay out of the sun and re-breath through a piece of cloth. Both of these are contrary to helping the immune system. Why? For as long as I have been able to read, I've noticed there are always stories printed that people could call fringe or wacky. There have always been tabloid newspapers with off the wall stories. Some people believed them and others did not, but no-one really cared what was printed, it was a free press. But today there is so much censorship, and it focuses only on certain topics. November 3rd 2020, January 6, 2021, the virus, the vaccine. Speech on these topics is heavily censored, again I ask; Why? Every year we track the death rates and causes, predictions were made last year that 2 million people in the US could die from this bug. It didn't happen. In fact worldwide, the deaths reported for 2020 were not significantly different than any other year in the past decade, but still the fear is being peddled; Why? If you don't believe that there are forces of both good and evil, then I have pity on you. I am quite certain there are these forces and right now there is a huge battle. The evil forces want to manipulate the people through fear. They have concocted a boogie man to put under our beds, they gave him a name and wove a great story of how many people he's killed. And if we don't behave, he'll get us too. The current injections, which are called vaccines but are not. They are experimental gene (DNA) therapy, have had some pretty severe reactions in a lot of people. Some have actually died from the shot. What I don't understand, is that even if someone gets the shot, they can still catch the flu. And, unless you are in a high risk group, there is a 99% probability of full recovery. So why do so many people want the shot?  And why does my government want everyone to get the shot? Why are some companies paying for people to get the shot? Why are companies paying people to get the shot? There is talk of shot passports. This may or may not become reality, it's about as wrong as can be, but I know a lot of people who support it. One thing that I find ironic is that I know several liberals who support abortion, some actually profess to be Christian. Seems like a contradiction to believe in killing an innocent baby and be a Christian. In any case, the abortion argument has been, my body my choice. Why isn't it my choice on the shot? I just wish that more people would stop and ask some questions. Why is the biggest one. Everyone does things for a reason. Why don't you speed, or maybe you do, but when you don't is it from fear of a ticket? Why do you stop at a stop sign at 2am? Again is it from fear or something else? If we only do things from fear, then we are easily controlled, but when we do things simply because they are the right things to do, like obey traffic laws, no matter what time it is. We can all live our lives more fully. We have been manipulated in so many ways last year. I watched cities burn down. I have a friend who lived in Atlanta, had a business that his family worked for years to build and it was burned down. The insurance company will not cover it because cameras caught the people who set the fire, but the courts are not prosecuting. Why, or why not?  Why did the news media stand in front of riots and try to tell us they were peaceful protests? There is an underlying agenda here, all of these things actually connect together but to get an understanding, you first have to ask the question; Why? Are you willing to ask the questions?  Are you willing to entertain the thought that maybe what you believed isn't true? There is a boogieman, he's not under the bed, it's not a virus, it's an evil force, and all it wants right now is for the people to sit at home, do nothing and comply. Why?

The great reset or awakening?

For a very long time I've heard preachers, and a lot of religious folks talk of how we live in the "End Times".  I think that most generations look at the troubles in the world and make that case. I will say that in the recent past, with the open acceptance of Satan by so much of secular society, this time it might actually be right.  I have also heard a lot about revivals. Never saw one, I have always wanted to know what the experience would be like.

In the past year, I have heard a lot more on this, the current phrases are either Great Awakening or Great Reset.

And they are in opposition to each other. The world wants a great reset. A centralized world monitoring system. Everyone is tracked (which incidentally is already happening with smart phones). And a one world digital monetary system. People have pushed for cashless societies for a long time, the problem with this is that everything that everyone does is now closely monitored. In addition, the great reset calls for a reduction in the global population. If you don't believe me, do some personal research. You will have to actually dig a bit, if you simply look at Google or Yahoo, you will find it's all listed as a hoax. But what if the folks at Google and Yahoo are a part of it?  Just do a little critical thinking. I know they don't teach folks how to do this any more.

THe great awakening though is quite different, and depending on who you ask you may get a different perspective. For the religious (while I don't like that term, it is as close as I can get, or we could say the church people), the great awakening is anticipated as another great Holy Spirit revival. I'd love to see this happen. Personally I think the awakening will be discovering just how evil a large part of the world is and has been. It will be the discovery, by a very large portion of the global population, that the things which they were taught for the past decades are all lies. I am daily amazed by the number of young people that I meet who simply believe whatever they either see on TV, or read on some internet site. With so much evidence that the MSM has lied in so many ways, still folks sit and watch fake news and believe it all.

One thing that the MSM has very successfully done is create great divides in our society. Racial, political and economic. The entire world today is fractured in so many pieces. I think nearly everyone is angry at something. Just stop and think about this for a moment. Are you angry at something?  Do you know someone else who is angry at something? Is it possible that there is an entity, some group of people perhaps, who can profit from the entire world being angry at each other?  If you cannot simply totally dismiss this idea, and if you are still able to do any form of individual or critical thinking, you cannot simply dismiss it. You owe it to yourself to do at least some research. Stop for a moment and look back at what has happened in the past year. A form of corona virus broke out in China. This is not the first time we've had a corona virus. But before it really spread, a small group of "experts" made some great claims of how this virus would kill 2 million Americans. So in order to stop it, we all had to stay apart, and cover our faces. And based solely on the projections of this small group, the world shut down. A year later we see that death tolls, world wide, are no larger than any previous year. The stubborn will say ot was because of the drastic measures. But the critical thinkers might say that something looks fishy. The US federal government has now made stimulus payments to the populous, and rumor has it there is more to come. Can you not see the direction this is going? A central government dictates what people can do and provides a stipend to survive.

There was a time, not too long ago, when I would label some of the people I knew as bat chit crazy. Now maybe I have joined the ranks. My time in the USAF showed me some of the bad stuff that our government has done and lied about. In actuality, I saw that pretty much all governments have done some pretty bad stuff and lied about it. After the explosion in Nashville last Christmas, when I watched the surveillance camera footage, I knew that something was wrong. Go watch the footage. There is an angle where a police officer is standing on the corner, he pauses for just a second looking directly at the camper which is about to explode, then turns and walks off screen. When he is clear of the blast zone, the bomb goes off. Is it possible that someone was connected to that camera and waited until it was clear?

Here is my take on the Great Awakening. It all starts with a single question, why?  Why does my government want everyone to get a vaccine when this "virus" has a survival rate of 99.8%?  Why did the entire world want to keep families and friends separated for a year or more? Why are internet platforms de-platforming people for speaking out on certain subjects? Why does the government want so badly to take away the people's right to own weapons?

Just start with any one of these questions and dig, you may end up in a pretty deep rabbit hole, and you may find out that we're not bat chit crazy after all.

Wake up!

Issues of fear and trust

I have had several conversations in the recent past concerning the scamdemic and vaccines. I am totally amazed at the number of people who blindly trust people who they do not know. Personally, I have a lot of trust issues. In the past several years I've learned that there are very few people that I can trust. I've always had a thing about trusting lawyers and insurance companies, that has been so heavily reinforced in the past two years. And I once worked for our government, I know for a fact that the government cannot be trusted. The flu virus shut down the entire world by peddling fear. Albeit this flu virus was a bit more than the typical virus, but there was no reason, and evidence shows this, to have masks worn or to have lock downs. It makes me wonder what the lockdowns and masks were all about. But now there is a vaccine. It's experimental, it contains some pretty nasty stuff. According to the manufacturer web site it has formaldehyde, aluminum, and aborted fetus cells. But so many folks are just lining up to get the shot. One company decided to stop research and production on a vaccine, stating that the human body was better equipped to fight off the disease and develop antibodies. The body is in fact an incredible thing. Doctors, politicians, and our mass media are claiming that the vaccines are safe. Not that long ago we thought lead was safe in paint and that smoking cigarettes was safe too. Hmm?

Globally, more than 12,000 people have died after receiving the vaccine. Some may have had underlying conditions but still, dead is dead. The "virus" has a 99 percent probability of survival.  I will take those odds any day thank you very much. Some of the vaccines are modified RNA. What exactly does that mean? I have heard different arguments on this, that it either will or will not modify the recipients' DNA. Reputable doctors on both sides of the issue. I also know that science has in the past sought to modify the DNA of various "pests" by using a modified RNA strand. There are genetically modified pests, (typically males) with these genes which prevent females from carrying offspring to term. Kind of frightening eh?

The one item that I truly find mind blowing is the disconnect that there are actually evil people in the world. Trust me I know this, I know myself all too well. There is a cognitive dissonance when confronted by high levels of evil. Most people can't accept the possibility that there may be a group of people who want to reduce the world's population at any cost. Maybe there is and maybe there isn't, but I accept that evil exists and so such a group could exist. I think it more dangerous to outright dismiss this idea. Have there not been, in history, people set on creating a perfect race and removing all else?

Everyone should read it. Most of the folks in our government have no conscious, they are sociopaths. A prime example is speaker Nancy. She went to a hair salon during the lockdown, while everyone else was forbidden from doing so. And she blamed everyone that she could think of for the "set up". Never admitting any level of responsibility. Not once did she admit to doing something wrong, insisting that it was someone else's fault. Due to her actions, that salon is now out of business.

There is evil in the world folks, and this current time is not a choice of political parties, it's good vs evil at the absolute core. And I am also totally amazed at the people who cannot see it, or recognize which side is which. (Which makes me stop and wonder which side some have always been on).  As I've stated in several other places, I might be crazy but I don't think so. I spent time analyzing intelligence data some time ago, and started doing the same in the past year. There are a lot of funny things happening globally. Some of the stuff I've found seem to be a bit far out, but some has been verified. If all of it is real, this world just might go catatonic for a while when it's revealed. Actually even if just half is real, (and I do believe that more than half is real) there is a rude awakening for people on both sides of the fence. I learned an expression back in my spy days, HOTSU, this means "he's out to screw you". There was  time when I universally applied this to everyone I met, (it's not paranoia if they really are trying to kill you)  I relaxed it a bit but today I'm starting to take that position again. I hate to say it like this, be very careful who you trust.

The feast of Purim, the story of Esther

While I am not a Jew, as a Christian I feel it's important to study the old books. It's where our heritage comes from. Jesus is a Jew, and there is so much more understanding of what He did when we know the old scriptures. In the next week on the Jewish calendar is the celebration of Purim. It comes from the story of Esther, a truly fascinating story. And as happens so many times, the stories repeat themselves. The names of the players will change and sometimes one player may be played by a group. Today we are living the story of Esther. The book is 10 chapters, it's a pretty easy read. I encourage everyone to take the time to read it, either before of after the blog, I am certain that you will learn something from it.

The story has four main characters, king Ahasuerus, Mordecai,  Esther, and a politician named Haman.

Let's now look at the character and actions of our main characters.

King Ahasuerus was a weak king. He had a poor ego and needed to please everyone. I equate the spirit of Ahasuerus to today's liberal society. Constantly blown by the winds of the current fad. Always seeking approval from peers and not wanting to offend people. Or at least people with the same mind set. Very easily influenced by outside pressures.

Our next character is Mordecai. While I can't find an exact title pr position for Mordecai, he was a Jewish elder of sorts. A wise unbending man to whom many sought for guidance and instruction. Certainly not a person blown by the whims of society, keeping focused on God's law and common sense. Today I place President Trunp in the place of Mordecai.

Our next character is Esther, after whom the book is written. Esther was an orphaned Jewish girl who was raised by Mordecai. I'm not sure what the relationship actually would be called, Esther was the daughter to Mordacai's uncle, so I would guess a cousin. Most commentaries that I've read consider Mordecai to be Esther's uncle. In any case they are kinn. Esther's primary claim to fame is that she is a beauty. But unlike some of today's beauties, she is quite intelligent and shrewed.
In this timeline today, the spirit of Esther is in the people who are truly seeking the truth. Not blown by social causes, or blindly accepting the word of government of news agencies.

Our final character is Haman. Haman is a boot licking politician. The absolute best description of a politician is a line from the movie "Hunt For Red october".
"I'm a politician, which means I'm a cheat and a liar. And when I'm not kissing babies, I'm stealing their lollipops. It also means I keep my options open."
Yes this is Haman. Haman needs his ego stroked constantly. He wants everyone to recognise that he is above the dregs of society. And Haman hated Mordecai, because Mordecai would not recognize that Haman was superior.  Today the spirit of Haman is in Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Shumer.

Again, I encourage people to read the whole story, I want to pull out some highlights here. One character who had a minor part was Ahasuerus's first wife Vashti.
She too was a beauty, what some would call a trophy wife. One time when Ahasuerus was in a drunken stupor with some friends, he commanded Vashti to parade around before his friends so he could show off his trophy. Some commentaries believe that his request was for her to be naked, except for her crown. The dress is not important, as Vashiti responded to the kings request, in Persian of course; "Kiss my ass". This response cost ther her position as queen, and most believe that it cost her life. I believe that Vashti was right, no man should ask his wife to parade around for any reason.

This left a vacancy on the throne for a queen, and so it was decided to hold a kingdom wide beauty pagent for a new queen. And the winner of this was Esther.
This is how she came to be queen. Well at least part of it. After winning the contest, Esther was taken to the king's palace and educated and pampered. When it came time for her to entertain the king (for lack of a better term). Esther was wise in that she asked members of the court what turned Ahasuerus on. That combination of beauty and smarts earned Esther the crown.

In the course of events, there were some evil men who conspired to kill the king, and as fate would have it, Mordecai learned of the plot. Mordecai got word to the king through Esther and the plot was foiled. But apparently king Ahasuerus never really understood from where the hot tip came.

Meanwhile Haman is making a name for himself, but Mordecai is a thorn in his side. He conspires to kill not just Mordecai but all Jews. Through flattery and bribes, Haman convinces the king that a "certain" people (Republicans today) need to be removed. And as the king is weak to the flattery and bribes, he agrees. This makes Haman quite glad and full of himself. He returns home bragging on all of his accomplishments.

While Haman is celebrating and having a party, king Ahasuerus is having trouble sleeping. I believe that The Holy Spirit was working on him. So the king calls for a scribe to read the minutes of the court. Think about someone reading to you the minutes of some official court meeting. That should put anyone to sleep. But as fate would have it, the scribe reads the story of how Mordecai saved the king form a plot to kill him. At this Ahasuerus wakes up, and asks who this was and if he was rewarded. The king is told it was Mordecai and no he was not rewarded. Again as fate would have it, or perhaps divine intervention, Haman arrives in the king's court at this exact moment. Haman is quite happy right now as he has plans to hang Mordecai. King Ahasuerus asks Haman what he should do to honor a man who did the king a service. As Haman is filled with conceit, and convinced of his greatness, he is certain that Ahasuerus is referring to him. Here we see how God has such a great sense of humor. Ahasuerus tells Haman to go and all do of those things to honor Mordecai.

I want to pause right here because this is where I'd like us to be. We the people actually are on the edge of being destroyed, the king in today's story doesn't realize it yet. But conspiracies will come against all people eventually, including the "woke" of today. We need some sleepless nights when people can look at where Mordecai (or President Trump) has saved them from so much evil. Just as in this story, Haman has tried twice now to hang Mordecai and failed.

The final events in the story of Esther reveal the plot of Haman to the king. Of how he plans to kill all of Esther's people, all because of the hatred of one man, Mordecai (or today Donald Trump). Haman had so many chances to do what was right but did not, he ended up hanging from the same gallows that was constructed for Mordecai.

I was recently moved to re-read this book and I believe it's pertinent for our time. God is moving across the face of the earth. I am certain that He has anointed President Trump to do a specific task. And just as in the story of Esther, God's people are to be saved.  Be encouraged today, while we see so much evil, God is still in control. And while we may not see all that He is doing, in His time and in His ways, the evil will both be revealed and removed.
